New World Disorder - [REVIEW]

Dungeon Elite [**] are finally back. After a year and go from their latest album"Dance Dance Evolution", and four years since their debut on the music scene in 2007, this band that on MySpace defines its music a mix of techno, Grindcore, Emotronic or simply Nintendocore, returns this December 25th with a wonderful Christmas present, their third studio album "New World Disorder" published for the first time with the label RazorCut Records.

Just looking at the cover you will probably want to buy it. This album has a cover which due to its freakness fascinates (or at least to me). The track one is a prelude to of 34 seconds. A mix between the sirens of Silent Hill and a radio that warned about an impending explosion. In fact, at the end of the track, the album "explodes" with Burn As Flames, powerful and energetic track, as more metal and electronic sound, which blends perfectly the shouted voices with the screamo, it loses a little in the chorus. Here To Stay is based primarily on the outspoken voice of Fada and Maia, also in the chorus. Perfectly reproduces the energy of the previous track even if it is of greater impact, more energetic and engaging. The beginning of Monochromatic is a crescendo of synths that explodes with a scream of Maia, the chorus is catchy, I like it, but what impresses most about this song and this is definitely the most exciting verse sung by Becko, after the first chorus: the base of this track is a dynamic fusion of hardcore, synth and dance sounds. Perhaps one of the tracks of the album that less convincing is We Believin ', certainly shines for originality, so far departed from the much from listening to the album track, but not fully convincing. In my opinion there are too many voices shouted that enhance the screamo and pre-chorus sung by Becko. With Dr.Drew seems to be catapulted into the video game Wipeout (since it refers to the sound a lot to the atmosphere of the game). This song is pure energy, one of the best on the album, and then shouted in chorus the refrain is the best! Proceed with Tesla, drum'n'bass at the base in the first quarter of this song is that values more than the track, the voice of Maia is good, clean, and tune. In the middle of the track comes alive a little, the basic battery fuses dubstep. The Worm I Will Crush back a little on the line of the previous tracks, the formula is always the same: metal / hardcore blends with (a few, in this case) elements of dance, electronic and techno. The rhythm is , dynamic, throughout all the 4-minutes of the song. We come then to Cataclysm, one of my favorite absolutly. It 'was originally released on the band's social networks back in October 2010. Technically is excellent, both for the background music and for the vocal effects, especially on the screamo of Fada. And then the chorus is very catchy, in short, you won't never get tired of listening! (And sing). A Sniper On The Roof Is Better Than 1000 Words follows the trail of some tracks such as Dr. Drew and I Will Crush The Worm, knows a little something "already heard" but overall it is a good track. The last track on the disc (the first of several bonus tracks) is Karma-Geddon. The album ends with a flourish. The track is powerful, very good chorus, shouted by Becko, accompanied by screamo of Fada, slightly less than the part sung by Maia, but the thing that gives greater weight to the track is the pre-chorus, especially towards the end when it is sung in chorus. And then we get the bonus tracks: Zombies On Your Lawn is one of the most successful cover of the band (perhaps the best). 3 minutes of crazy energy, the song is electro-pop master, but it sees a great mix very a very catchy chorus that says"There's a zombie on your lawn / We do not want zombies on the lawn" sung by Maia, and screamo of Fada and Becko. Perhaps the pace is a little too fast for the club, but just feel the urge to stand up and dance!

Overall, "New World Disorder" is the 'undisputed evidence of' significant improvement of the band. The album is certainly less "experimental" of previous work, especially compared to "Dance Dance Evolution", this is certainly less focused on dance and electronic. The songs are mature, well kept and original, even more than previous work, synonymous with the band continues to grow as well in this project, have managed to combine neatly 's Hardcore, Metal and Techno in a unique, dynamic and captivating sound. .
